My body's aching, My sinuses are all packed up I'm slowly shaking I'm keeping my door locked shut This time I'm fading Falling into vertigo I'm stuck relaying How I feel through a dying phone Goddamn Corona, you're Sucking my spirit dry You got me so bored Waiting for the day to arrive When I can finally See my kid again But see I'm lucky Because I have room to bend My beating heart my pounding head My burning eyes my dissonance The feeling's real I'm scared to death Will I come out unbroken? This is what I get for Coming down with COVID It's so magnificient Spreading its love around And every time I think I'm starting to feel better Here it comes again To drive me into the ground This is what I get for Coming down with COVID I thank the maskless for Spreading its love around Caught at the office Strong as the weakest link Nobody had it That's what we're told to think Get back inside here Get back in line get back to work There's nothing to fear From giving up your latest perk My boss is cranky That he can't plan our every move You see he's panicking About the control he could lose Productivity Is up when we're all at home But managers see Their power shrivel as we roam My beating heart my pounding head My burning eyes my dissonance The feeling's real I'm scared to death Will I come out unbroken? This is what I get for Coming down with COVID It's so magnificient Spreading its love around And every time I think I'm starting to feel better Here it comes again To drive me into the ground This is what I get for Coming down with COVID I thank the maskless for Spreading its love around My lungs are wet My throat is dry My nose is bleeding I might die But that's okay We've had enough Now COVID's over It was too tough It's been two years We're tired of it Doesn't it know We need our kids Forced into schools So we can work To make our bosses Wealthier What of our weakest The sick the seniors and our kids Surely they need to Shut up and get over it Their sacrifice is Really the least they can do The economy need them To take a lot less room Meanwhile I'm shaking The chills have started up again And I can't think straight My heads gone right around the bend And I can't take more Unpaid time away from work The CDC is clearing me To come in spreading my germs

Brain Damage 03:02
I think my brain has been slowly leaking Out my nose and down my throat And now we're all in the same boat A frontal lobe lobotomy Is nothing very shocking see This disease kills our brain cells In myriad ways And now my blood is positively boiling My labored heart is toiling These arteries are coiling Around my bones are breaking down And blowing off and leaving town I'm bubbling and stroking out This isn't just a phase We know What's coming Don't hide Stop running My neurons Are firing Slower than ever before Synapses Are sparking Their shine is slowly dying Memory Is fading I'm losing track of myself Furthering Risk taking Behavior spreading it airborne I think this fog is now slowly seeping In and out nerual pathways I cannot think straight through this maze This haze has ways to phase our brains Into a stunned and broken space Where we never seem to place Our finger on how But Corona flows through our vascular systems And everything it touches is Affected by the viruses That ride our blood like busses Sussing out all of our weaknesses And leaving us in pieces Sideways broken and bound We know What's coming Don't hide Stop running My neurons Are firing Slower than ever before Synapses Are sparking Their shine is slowly dying Memory Is fading I'm losing track of myself Furthering Risk taking Behavior spreading it airborne Corona Is coming And yet we're doing nothing Mutating So quickly We can't defend against it Mutations That go wild Are ones that aid its spreading Like killing Brain regions That govern risk assessment And so it goes now it's taking over Whatever's left of society Each infection makes us weaker Each infection takes away our memories I think my brain has been slowly leaking Out my nose and down my throat And now we're all in the same boat A frontal lobe lobotomy Is nothing very shocking see This disease kills our brain cells In myriad ways We know What's coming Don't hide Stop running My neurons Are firing Slower than ever before Synapses Are sparking Their shine is slowly dying Memory Is fading I'm losing track of myself Furthering Risk taking Behavior spreading it airborne

Inflation 04:03
The stars are shining Dazzling diamonds on the screen That glows so brightly Showing how empty this room is Where once was laughter Now there is only misery I can't afford some new decor To spruce up what was once part of a scene Scrap and fight for every bite Of each dollar I earn and right Around the time I crash down On this old and beaten couch All I'm left with is an empty pit A gaping void in my stomach Food is too expensive So I'll shoplift just to stay alive We can see Inflation Starving us Out of house and home Now life is Expensive What point will Make us all explode The world is turning It's slightly stumbling at least And while it's burning We shovel funds to the police So when we rise up And we take it to the streets There's a hundred thousand more Now champing at the bit to be released This money's better spent On paying for meds food and rent For citizen civilians Who will otherwise fight back Against the monetary system that Controls us up down front and back It isn't working out for us The only way is rioting We think We are Human beings well Nothing Works out As expected but This time We find Prices rising and Blame it On us And the pandemic now Lockdowns were nonexistent Stimmy checks were just a two time deal Meanwhile there's record profits For the people gouging us for real Our media has gaslit Our entire population so Their advertisers keep on Paying them to push us down below The stars are shining Dazzling smiles on my TV Prices are rising And we can't afford to eat Our rent is climbing It's shooting higher every week No other reason but the Common thread is flagrant corporate greed It's time we rise up time we fight back Grab a hammer strike the beast Why should they profit from our labor Give us famine while they feast They think they're stronger think they're safe with Pinkertons and the police We have our labor to withhold Let's cut them down right at their knees We can see Inflation Starving us Out of house and home Now life is Expensive What point will Make us all explode

Sneak a Peek 03:37
You know I gotta sneak a peek! All these streets are starting to blur Here in the suburbs scoping out the hedge rows and windows now Here we go I got my camera ready To start snapping some x-rated pervo pics again See I go out every night into the wild wild world Of the upper middle class's castle parks To see what kind of fun that fun bunch is up to And what kind of kinky shit they're doing in the dark But lately it's been a tad bit disappointing See these Trump flag flying fuckers are coughing a lot Where these richies used to swing like chimps in trees Now they're homebound sick with covid and monkeypox See I got something of a special set of skills I pay my bills and buy my pills by being a creep But with covid running rampant and a pox on all their houses Times have never been tougher to sneak a peek I'm out here sipping my third cup of coffee It's a hot and humid night too much to be out But my rent has come due and I haven't yet So I'm hunting from the fences but I'm starting to doubt Now the pickin's have been slim and disgusting I'm not a big enough freak to get off on sores and snot Now it's not like I'm some kind of conservative prude But don't get me wrong I get off on a good shot And so what's left is pathetic and the keys in the bowl Barely ring out with the tiniest clink It's so hard to film a party in someone else's home With the host passed out and the guest puking in the sink The time has come I realize To pack it up pack it in In drab disappointment And my thoughts are aligned With my feelings I guess I'm walking on eggshells With blueballs stuck to my legs But it doesn't matter I tell myself again This time I really mean it But it's a become a trend These selfish sons of bitches Need to take better care I can't get off when they're off sick From miasmatic air You see I tried to sneak a peek And what I found was horrific You'd think they'd mask up for their own good It's really so sophomoric All these streets are fading away Leaving the suburbs scoping out the hedge rows and windows now Here we go I got my camera packed To give up snapping some x-rated pervo pics again See I go out every night into the wild wild world Of the upper middle class's castle parks To see what kind of fun that funky bunch is up to Just to see what that fun bunch is coughing up But lately it's been extremely disappointing See these Trump flag flying fuckers are coughing a lot Where these richies used to swing like chimps in trees Now they're homebound sick with covid and monkeypox

Wave to my neighbor Get in my car Get a move on it's time to get to work Sit in my cube Staring off Cubemate is coughing through his stupid salesman smirk Too much commotion Lay my head down Temples are pounding then a scream comes from the back Down in the break room Sprawled on a table Once an able bodied man had a heart attack But it's fine The boss said back to work Leave the body there Staring only makes it worse We're back to normal And the change was quick Nobody said a word We're great at ignoring it Step past the body On the way to my afternoon cup He is the table now A fruit bowl's been set up People are talking They're coughing loud They're taking bets On the next to hit the ground It doesn't matter that masking can stop this It doesn't matter if this disease kills our kids It doesn't matter if it shreds our immune systems It doesn't matter much to class capitalists We're here We're watching Our western culture floping We're busy ignoring it We've given up on covid It's here It's staying No matter how you're praying We're far too scared to fight it We've given up on covid The drive home Driving like psychopaths Three dead in a road rage rifle attack Blank out My mind goes fuzzy I made it home but I can't recall the path Turn on the TV Turn on the game 80,000 and not a single mask Can't hear the players Can't hear the ref Can't hear a thing but coughing from the stands Every time I watch the news I grow a little colder To the people all around me who Just couldn't bear to shoulder Just a little bit of empathy And self responsibility Having so much difficulty Doing the slightest thing To keep their families And friends and neighbors Safer than a little shrug And a lazy halfassed Watcha gonna do Well first you could put on a mask And keep a little distance You don't need to ride up on me In the supermarket queue It doesn't matter that masking can stop this It doesn't matter if this disease kills our kids It doesn't matter if it shreds our immune systems It doesn't matter much to class capitalists We're here We're watching Our western culture floping We're busy ignoring it We've given up on covid It's here It's staying No matter how you're praying We're far too scared to fight it We've given up on covid It feels like I'm stuck here Living in the Twilight Zone It's no big ask to wear a mask Or leave me alone, but It shouldn't be this much of a giant fucking deal To stay far the hell away from me This pandemic is real It doesn't matter that masking can stop this It doesn't matter if this disease kills our kids It doesn't matter if it shreds our immune systems It doesn't matter much to class capitalists We're here We're watching Our western culture floping We're busy ignoring it We've given up on covid It's here It's staying No matter how you're praying We're far too scared to fight it We've given up on covid It doesn't matter that masking can stop this It doesn't matter if this disease kills our kids It doesn't matter if it shreds our immune systems It doesn't matter much to class capitalists We're here We're watching Our western culture floping We're busy ignoring it We've given up on covid It's here It's staying No matter how you're praying We're far too scared to fight it We've given up on covid

about

This EP is about the ongoing global pandemic most people forgot about, and their forgetting about it.

The music for this EP was written mostly during my two week fight with the acute phase of covid. It's only programmed instruments, meaning software synthesizers and drums, plus vocals recorded after I recovered, because I couldn't play guitar or bass while I was sick.

Wear a mask if you can afford them. Covid is still infecting people and the acute, flu-like phase is not the worst of it. It causes potentially permanent brain, lung, and cardiovascular damage, as well as decimating the immune system on par with HIV. Vaccines are good, but don't prevent this damage. The only way to avoid it is to avoid catching covid, and that means limiting indoor activities, wearing a KN95 rated respirator or better in indoor public spaces, and proper ventilation of indoor public spaces, which costs rich people money and will thus never happen.
